DIY

Transparent clutch created by yours truly. I got the idea from an Ebay store and Vanessa Wong of The Haute Pursuit, so I decided to try my hand. Its almost finished I just need to find the perfect piece of hardware to act as the snap for my new clutch. I think that I should start posting DIY videos because I hate to stop in the middle of a project. Typically I instagram my finished projects but recently I have been thinking that I should do more DIY tutorials. But, the ever so gruesome idea of taking pictures while I'm progressing on something sucks so I am thinking that just letting the camera roll and editing the footage to like a 15 to 30 second video. I am really open to some feedback on the idea so please let me know what you think.

GIRL FRIDAY

Due to my recent soul searching, I decided that my bestie and I would do a bunch of DIY projects that would help us free our minds of societal clutter and open the door to an enlightened sense of self. It started off with a shirt, then a skirt and now its everything under the sun. From acrylic belts to plastic pleated mini skirts, you name it we have tried it. These jeans were made to pass time in between my complex DIY sessions. Borrowed the idea from Park and Cube. Hopefully you like.

OUTDOORS

Basics. You got to love them. I am not one for many words so I hope the images did a good job at conveying what I will not be putting into words for this entry. The shirt was purchased from my favorite online store at the moment The Scarlet Room and the skirt I made myself. There you have it.

FYI yes those are tattoos that go up my entire leg. They are bows and zippers.

MOTION

I know that I don't update often, but I am going to start to try. I have really been in an overall funk lately, but hopefully clear skies are on their way. Also, I am trying to incorporate more of my aesthetics and vision into my blog.

Lately, Rick Owens has been the reason for my aesthetics season, so above I have created my own DIY pieces. I am wearing a DIY plexi cuff belt and a DIY asymmetrical cut top with a good ole fashion pair of BCBG Maxazria white denim. I must say that its been awhile since I have wore a pair of their jeans, but I have not forgotten the quality of their denim. I must say.

DIY: SOMETHING OLD

So I have been meaning to post this for awhile now, but I have been a little busy lately. I got the idea from Love Aesthetics and decided that I must have a pair of my own. Lately, I have been struggling with find a purpose in life and figuring out an occupational direction so I thought that a few DIY project may take my mind off of my daily growing pains and add a little sunshine to my life.

FYI : the pants turned out fantastic. I couldn't have thought up a better old--->new transformative item myself.
